• Role Title: Capital Specialist

• Location: Wolverhampton or Kent - 2/3 days a week in office

• Salary: £65000 - £75000

 

A specialist Bank are looking for a Risk Capital Specialist to complement their team… and what a company to join!

 

They primarily focus on carefully selected segments of the mortgage market such as BTL, Residential, Development Finance, Asset Finance, as well as savings, bonds, ISA's etc. which makes them a leader within their field. Their teams are split in a way that you aren't seen as just a number and you will be part of something transformative that will have a major impact.

 

You will be joining a small and diverse team where you will have the chance to work in a number of different areas - and development/progression opportunities are endless. Whether you progress in this team, or want to move internally within the bank to gain some new experience.

 

Anyway, the role!

 

You will be the “go to” capital and IRB subject matter expert with regards to prudential and regulatory reporting matters.

 

You will lead the delivery of submissions and regulatory input on capital and IRB related areas, support on developing the capital, IRB or other related papers/proposals and maintain the governance of key prudential and regulatory reporting matters - to name a few!

 

So, if you have experience in:

 

• Regulatory knowledge within Retail Banking

• Numerate/Analytical with a high attention to detail

• Capital

• Regulatory rulebooks (Basel 3/CRR/PRA - including COREP) - would be a plus!

• RWA or IRB experience would be a huge plus!

 

And comfortable being the go-to, SME within Capital Reporting

This role can either be based out of their Kent or Wolverhampton office and would need you in office 2 or 3 days a week.
